MD040 - NAMM 2008: Rockstars from the Eighties

Everyone knows what it’s like to be a guitar hero in 2008, but we wanted to know what it was like to be a real life rockstar in the 80’s, so we went to the one place on earth where we were sure to find someone that could give us the answer: NAMM, where all the guitar, bass, and drum and keyboard manufacturers come to show off their latest gear. You can’t put 50,000 guitars in one room without attracting a few rockstars!

Were we actually supposed to recognize any of those people? Besides Cookie Monster, of course.

The 80s were much like the 60s. If you remember all of it, you missed out on a key part of the experience. :-)

Am I the only one who can’t seem to get anything? The Flash movie won’t play and all the downloads are 0 bytes for some reason.

    Hey.

I’ve just stumbled across this vidcast and had a question. Does Veronica get paid to do this? If so this would have to be the sweetest gig - doing random stuff every day.

Decent podcast. Keep up the good work.

    Pat.

1 - I agree with Kevin. I need names printed at the bottom of the screen. I don’t know who any of those people are, and I grew up in the 80s.

2 - Need more “Lady V” on camera. She is the reason I watch these anyway.
