Not only did I give a warning about the towel technique, but I also said to get the extended warranty, send it to MS, and also gave all the correct MS information. Microsoft extended the warranty of 360's to fix the issue which should be your first move. Trying to do the towel technique may just make things worse and if MS finds evidence of that they will void the warranty. Why try to hack it up and fix it yourself thereby voiding the warranty?
