MD049 - Toms Shoes
Based in Santa Monica, California, Toms Shoes is a shoe shop with a mission: for each of the Alpargata-style Argentinean shoes that Toms sells, the company donates a pair to a child in need on your behalf during what they call a “shoe drop”. We visited Toms’ headquarters and spoke to several employees in an aim to find out what drives this cause based company.

Amazing what they’re doing in my country. I had no idea. Funny thing, I own alpargatas, but they are Adidas!

This is great and the shoes are so cute! I will be purchasing a pair this afternoon once I settle on a style, there are so many to choose from.
It would be so cool if they did a video of them taking the shoes down to the kids so people could see for themselves how this helps. How about a Toms Shoes Daily?

This was an awesome episode. I was born in Argentina, and it always nice to see people helping other people. I hope they spread their soles to the even more places. I’m going to get a couple of pairs right now.

No, it would not be gay. It would be refreshing to see a father teaching his son the gentleness and fun of dancing.
However, it would be interesting to try to find a pair that fit both the parent and the child. Don’t you just hate shopping for shoes!
I guess a blue pair would be for mother and son.
