Have you ever wondered who puts up those political signs you keep spotting on the freeway? We spoke to the Freeway Blogger, the man behind the signs, about why he does it, and what he thinks of his critics. We even went out on one of his freeway blogging rides.

renee should’ve won the job. leah’s stories are stale and boring imo.

Good episode, although I was really hoping you would have changed the sign to ‘the cake is a lie’ ;-)

vVv: Your are totally wrong.
I would have canceled my subscription if Andrea won and now I am really enjoying the show.
Besides you did not even see Leeha in this Episode just Lon.
And Mahalo is getting somewhat political with this episode too, which I appreciate.
Leeha - you are GREAT, that includes your look, your intellect and your style.
Lon - you are GREAT too, well you don’t look as good as Leeha but you know how to be funny ;-).

Three cheers for the Freeway Blogger.
vVv is full of crap.

Lon,
Thanx for another good episode. I am enjoying MD daily! It’s informative, varied and fun. Did I say unpredictable?!

I would have enjoyed a little discussion about the blogger’s potential meetings with the police.

Interestingly enough, John, I did ask the Freeway blogger if he had ever been stopped by police. He said he had been asked to take down signs once or twice, but never arrested. He thinks this is because he’s careful to only post the signs on public property and willing to take down a sign if confronted.
We had about 2 hours worth of FB footage, so choosing what to include in a few minute episode was challenging…This little segment didn’t make the cut.
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the info Lon. I understand. (I was interested in the free speech issue.)

Great episode,
Always wondered who was putting up those signs

Always wondered about those. Thanks for informing me.
Lon you were great!

Awesome job, buddy!

vVv: GET OVER IT!!! Leah your awesome.
June 24th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
This sort of brings up an interesting question: if a Judge wanted to haul you in for a “fishing expedition” or to force you to reveal the ID of the Freeway Blogger for example, would you throw him under the bus or go to jail for contempt? Perhaps you should do a segment on Josh Wolf!
Loved the episode — good job.

Great episode! now can people stop complaining and just enjoy the show? I can’t wait for things to get normal again, and comments to not all be about whether they thought the show was good or not, but about the content of the show.
Looking forward to seeing Leah again.

Fight the good fight, Freeway Blogger!
June 25th, 2008 at 12:15 pm
Awesome.
Mahalo’s showing they’re not afraid of the more controversial subjects.
Bring it on.
Meta point: Isn’t it interesting how I just referred to something as mild as protest signs, as being “controversial”
Interesting times we’re living in.

I didn’t like this episode because I do support the war in Iraq. Though I do give the freeway blogger credit for being creative.
